For my web design class, I worked to expand my HTML and CSS coding skills.
Softball WebpageThe first assignment was to create a multi-page website that included pictures, links, and more basic elements of web design. I chose to create a site for my high school softball team, The Lady Hawks. There are three pages, each with differing content. For this website, I wrote all of the HTML and CSS code myself, while implementing JavaScript onto the Photos page.

CSS Zen GardenThe second assignment was to take an HTML file and apply styling to it using CSS. We could not modify the HTML code at all. For my design, I utilized fixed positioning to create an interesting layout. Additionally, I enhanced interactivity by incorporating subtle changes when the user interacts with certain elements. I created all of the artwork using Adobe Illustrator.

ResumeFor this assignment, I created a multi-page website featuring aspects of my webpage. Each page has different information. The colors I chose are in line with the colors I use for my self-branding, and it features my logo. I wrote all of the HTML and CSS code, and I expanded my skills by using more transitions and hover effects. My goal was to create a clean and simple yet appealing and effective design.

My Best DayThis web assignment was to make a single page site that used images, graphics, and words to recount one of my favorite memories. I compiled pictures from the weekend, drew graphics in Adobe Illustrator, and wrote all the content myself. Then, I wrote the website with HTML coding and used CSS to style it. I chose to use a red and blue color scheme because those are the school colors.

SERVE's Service on SaturdayI created this website in under 15 minutes for a quiz in class. The assignment was to make a single page website of our choice that included a header, footer, two columns, a graphic, and a hyperlink. The main point of the page was to have a call to action, asking the viewer to do something. On this page, the call to action is to sign up for Service on Saturday by following the link on the page.
